In these homes a system boiler with a properly sized cylinder is usually the right answer: stored hot water serves both showers at full flow, and the cylinder is sized from a heat loss calculation and your household's real usage, not by matching whatever was there before.
If you already have a system boiler and cylinder, don't assume switching to a combi is an upgrade — for a bigger household it often isn't, and we'll say so plainly at the survey. We do both types of installation, so we've no incentive to steer you either way.
